Only how steady it is depends on this: whether it stands doesn’t.

How it’s checked

The quick check, on every change: every plank rests on something, none goes through another, and each keeps its balance with everything on it.
The exact check: it looks for forces at every contact (pushing only, friction limited by your planks’ grip) that hold every plank still. If none exist, it falls.
How steady: how far the table can tilt four ways before something slides or tips, and which planks go first.
While you build: the same check after every layer, so nothing needs holding up halfway.

Every Kapla plank weighs the same, so only shape, balance and grip count. Real planks vary a little, and tables wobble: leave some margin.
